Before becoming a registered massage therapist, Leah was working in the health care benefits industry assisting clients with return to work programs. She wanted to have a direct involvement with an individual’s rehabilitation and enrolled in the massage therapy program at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT). Leah graduated from VCMT in December 2020 where she completed the 3300 hour massage therapy program, with 550+ hours of clinical practice.

Leah’s main focus for treatment is listening to her patient’s needs and goals, and working with the patient to develop an effective treatment plan. Leah has always had a passion for health and fitness, she enjoys weight training, playing tennis and golf in her spare time.


Acupuncture

Lingling Qin is a Registered Acupuncturist in BC. She has worked as an internal medical doctor in China for over 15 years. Lingling found her passion for acupuncture after discovering the benefits of treatments for her lower back and sciatic pain. She then enrolled in the Acupuncture Speciality program in Chinese Medicine at Chengdu University, China.

She moved to Canada in 2001 to practice her extensive knowledge of acupuncture. Her experience in both conventional Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine has enabled Lingling to recognize the root cause of her patient’s symptoms and ultimately identify specific points in the body, to prompt the body’s natural ability to heal. After graduating from SFU with a bachelors degree in Health Sciences, Dr. Libatique attended the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon to complete her doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Libatique uses an evidence-based approach to help guide treatments for both spinal and extremity musculoskeletal injuries using a combination of manual adjustments, various soft tissue techniques including Active Release Treatment, and aims to prevent future injuries by providing strength and rehabilitation exercise programs. Dr. Afshin Janmohamed provides a multifaceted approach that allows his patients to move better, feel better, and live better. Dr. Afshin obtained his BSc degree in Human Biology in Montreal, Quebec and his Doctorate of Chiropractic in Portland, Oregon from the University of Western States. Prior to this, he had a career in the healthcare field where he was exposed to patients who were taking a variety of medications to minimize their symptoms and alleviate pain. After a few years, he realized that he would like to help people without medication in a more hands-on manner, thus his decision to pursue a Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Afshin has treated patients in numerous clinics including those in underserved communities. This inspired a passion to volunteer in third world countries, helping individuals of all ages with a variety of neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
